This is one of those "it's all about me" moments, my chance to share a little about just who this person named Starla Kaye is...for those of you interested.

I often tend to see things and life through the rose-colored eyes of a romantic. I grew up in a loving family, something for which I will always be grateful. Today I am surrounded by a loving family and many wonderful friends who support me in all of my craziness.

I am working toward being a full-time writer of erotic romance and am multi-published at this time. I am a member of RWA (Romance Writers of America), the current Vice-President/Secretary of Kansas Writers Association, and the poast president of WARA (Wichita Area Romance Authors). Although I write in a number of romantic sub-genres, my favorite one involves cowboys...contemporary or Old West. Give me a low-tipped Stetson, a tight-fitting pair of jeans, worn boots, an Alpha male and I am a very happy woman. At least that is the type of hero I most love to cast in my stories. The man in my life doesn't fit any of that, but I love him anyway.

When I am not writing or dreaming up another plotline and a new set of characters, I might be off traveling somewhere. Well, even when I travel to places like Maui, the U.K., France, Italy, or even spots in the good old USA, I'm dreaming and plotting. And I will be taking oodles of pictures wherever I go.

If you would like to learn even more about me and why I write the things I do, the way I do, I have been interviewed at two different websites. You can check out the interview with Laurie Sanders at Pop Syndicate  http://www.popsyndicate.com/books/story/an_eye_on_the_hot_and_steamy_--_starla_kaye_aka_s.k._fero.
